We train dancers from PeeWee/Beginner levels through Advanced/Competitive levels and Adults, providing strong technical foundations while fostering confidence, discipline, and performance quality in a supportive yet driven environment. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Preschool Dance Instructor to teach Saturday morning classes including Mommy & Me, Creative Movement, Ballet/Tap Combo, and Hip-Hop. The ideal candidate can create an engaging, positive, and structured classroom environment while fostering confidence, creativity, coordination, and a love of dance in young children. This position will begin with our full-year season (September-June). This instructor will work with our youngest dancers, providing strong foundational movement training while creating a fun and rewarding first dance experience. Key Responsibilities Teach Saturday morning preschool classes including Mommy & Me, Creative Movement, Ballet/Tap Combo, and Hip-Hop Create engaging lesson plans that develop coordination, musicality, creativity, and age-appropriate dance technique Maintain a structured classroom while keeping classes fun, positive, and interactive Provide encouragement, constructive feedback, and individualized attention when appropriate Build foundational dance skills and classroom etiquette in young dancers Recital preparation and performance choreography is required Attend rehearsals, showcases, and studio events as required Uphold studio standards for professionalism, punctuality, and dress code Qualifications Proven experience teaching preschool-aged children is a MUST Experience teaching Mommy & Me, Creative Movement, Ballet, Tap, and Hip-Hop Strong classroom management skills Ability to engage and motivate young dancers while maintaining structure and consistency Energetic, patient, reliable, and team-oriented Excellent communication and organizational skills Consistency and commitment throughout the season are a MUST Saturday morning availability is a MUST Preferred Experience Experience preparing young dancers for performances and recitals Ability to create a positive, nurturing environment while building strong dance foundations
