Fridays, 1-hour class, 3:30-4:45 pm

Compensation:
Starts at $65 per hour We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Hip Hop Dance Instructor for a short-term contract position to lead an after-school dance class for elementary students in grades K-3 . This high-energy class is designed to introduce young dancers to hip hop and upbeat movement in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate environment. About the
Class:
1-hour after-school hip hop class Meets every Friday for 6 weeks Students will learn basic hip hop foundations, rhythm, coordination, and expressive movement The class will work toward learning a choreographed dance to perform at the end of the session
Responsibilities:
Teach age-appropriate hip hop and upbeat dance movements Create a fun, structured, and inclusive learning environment Build choreography progressively over the 6-week session Encourage confidence, creativity, and teamwork Prepare students for an end-of-session performance Maintain a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere
Qualifications:
Experience teaching dance, preferably hip hop, to young children Strong classroom management and communication skills Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic about working with elementary-aged students Ability to break down choreography into simple, easy-to-follow steps Reliable and committed for the full 6-week contract period Willingness to complete required employment forms and successfully pass a background check
Contract Details:
This is an independent contractor position with the possibility to be extended for additional classes Instructor must successfully pass a background check prior to the start date Completion of required onboarding and school/program forms is mandatory Instructor is responsible for their own taxes and insurance, if applicable Payment issued weekly or per session (details provided upon hire) If you are passionate about dance and enjoy working with young children in a dynamic after-school setting, we would love to hear from you.
