Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dance Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through the art of dance. In this role, you will create a vibrant learning environment where students can develop their technique, express themselves creatively, and build confidence. Your passion for dance and teaching will motivate learners to reach their full potential while fostering a love for movement and performance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of dancers and contribute to a dynamic arts community. Duties Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to students' ages, skill levels, and learning objectives Develop instructional materials that enhance learning experiences, including choreography, exercises, and visual aids Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and performance skills Organize and supervise rehearsals for performances or showcases when applicable Incorporate various dance styles and techniques to diversify instruction and challenge students Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues about progress, upcoming events, or concerns Experience Proven experience working with children, youth programs, or adult learners in a dance or instructional setting Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline while encouraging creativity Experience developing instructional materials for different age groups and skill levels Knowledge of multiple dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, or cultural dances Background in tutoring or coaching students to improve their technical skills Familiarity with online instruction platforms for virtual dance classes is a plus Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with diverse learners and foster a positive learning environment Join us in inspiring movement and expression! Pay:
$30.00 - $150.00 per hour
