Job Description

Job Overview We're looking for a fun, upbeat, and reliable Children's Dance & Movement Instructor to lead recreational enrichment classes at preschools and elementary schools. Classes are designed for children ages 2-12 and focus on age-appropriate dance, movement, coordination, and performance skills. Some school programs may also incorporate beginner cheer-style routines and activities . This is a part-time position with classes located throughout Broward County and occasionally Boca Raton. Training and class guidance are provided. What You'll Do Lead fun beginner dance and movement classes for children. Teach simple routines and age-appropriate choreography. Help students prepare for a short end-of-session performance. Arrive on time and communicate professionally with school staff and families. What We're Looking For Dance, cheer, gymnastics, youth recreation, or similar experience is a plus. Experience working with children is preferred. Dependable transportation is required. Must be able to complete a Level II fingerprint background screening . Schedule & Pay Current examples may include: Monday mornings around 10:00 AM
  • 11AM and 3:15pm
  • 4:15pm Tuesday afternoons around 3:30 PM
  • 4:30 Wednesday 2pm-3pm Additional school opportunities may become available

  • 50 per hour , depending on the school and location.
