We're seeking passionate, reliable instructors who love working with children and want to be part of a team that values both artistry and impact.
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring an experienced Jazz Instructor/Educator to join our staff for the upcoming season. Ideal candidates are energetic, organized, and committed to teaching proper technique in a fun and engaging way. You'll work with recreational and/or competitive-level dancers, ages 5 to 17.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach weekly jazz classes (for this season, ages will be for kids 10 and up) Create age-appropriate choreography for end of the year performance Provide individualized feedback and corrections to support dancer growth Collaborate with staff and follow studio policies and curriculum Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications:
4+ years teaching jazz in a studio setting Solid understanding of teaching children jazz progressions, choreography and cleaning of choreography Strong communication skills and a professional, upbeat demeanor Availability on weekday afternoons/evenings and/or weekends Experience with competitive dance is a plus
