This individual will play a vital role in developing young dancers from toddlers through teens, fostering both technical growth and self-confidence. The ideal candidate is deeply rooted in the culture of dance, values respect and collaboration, and is committed to empowering students to exceed their current abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and teach engaging, age-appropriate hip hop choreography for students ranging from toddlers to teens Instruct dancers in foundational and advanced hip hop techniques, musicality, and performance quality Prepare students and teams for performances and competitions Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment Collaborate with fellow instructors and leadership to align choreography with studio goals and programming Provide constructive feedback that supports student growth and confidence Maintain strong classroom management and ensure student safety at all times

Qualifications:

Proven experience in hip hop dance and choreography Strong knowledge of hip hop technique, style, and culture Experience working with children and adolescents (toddlers to teens preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for mentoring and developing young dancers Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Competition experience (preferred)
