Overview Join our team as a Dance Instructor, where your enthusiasm for movement and commitment to teaching will ignite a passion for dance in our students. In this vibrant role, you will lead lively classes and create a supportive atmosphere that nurtures creativity, confidence, and physical growth. Your expertise will guide our students in exploring the joy of dance while honing their skills and self-expression. Duties Familiarize yourself with our curriculum to effectively teach basic ballet and tap to preschoolers aged 3 to 6 years. Deliver engaging dance classes that encourage proper technique and coordination while ensuring a fun atmosphere. Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a safe and respectful learning environment for every student. Requirements Experience in teaching dance or related movement, along with strong classroom management skills. Background in various dance styles, including ballet, tap, or jazz. Experience working with children or preschoolers; childcare experience is an added advantage. Ability to create a positive learning atmosphere while ensuring discipline and engagement. Reliable transportation is necessary, as we operate as a mobile dance company. Available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Classes are located in the Oakleaf/Middleburg/Blanding Blvd areas. Obtain DCF Level 2 background screening if not already completed.

Pay:

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 12.0 per week
