Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, particularly Ballet, and will be responsible for educating students of all ages in dance techniques and choreography. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to inspire students while fostering a love for dance. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging dance curricula that cater to different skill levels and age groups. Teach various dance styles with a focus on Ballet, ensuring students understand techniques and movements. Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a respectful and productive atmosphere. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills. Organize performances and recitals to showcase student progress and achievements. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Skills Strong skills in curriculum development tailored for diverse age groups. Experience working with students in an educational or instructional capacity. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster a conducive learning environment. Proficiency in Ballet; additional experience in other dance styles is a plus. Ability to educate effectively, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Nice-to-have skills include sewing for costume preparation and culinary skills for potential themed classes or events.
