In person, travel required to assigned locations in Orange County and Osceola County About Us Rebuild Yourself Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering teens by providing them with the skills, support, and tools needed to navigate life successfully. We focus on teaching essential social, emotional, and life skills in a supportive, engaging, and inclusive environment. Through compassion based peer support, Rebuild Yourself helps teens build confidence, strengthen friendships, develop leadership skills, and feel connected to a community that believes in them. Rebuild Yourself Inc. is seeking a passionate, dependable, and engaging Session Leader to facilitate teen workshops focused on social skills, life skills, peer connection, confidence, leadership, self love, compassion, acceptance, volunteer service, financial literacy, and college readiness. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering pre developed lesson plans, engaging with teens in a meaningful way, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. This position requires travel to various facilities and partner locations within Orange County and Osceola County. Travel time will be factored into working hours. Key Responsibilities Facilitate teen workshops using provided Rebuild Yourself lesson plans and activities. Teach teens vital social, emotional, leadership, and life skills in an engaging and age appropriate way. Create a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages learning, confidence, peer interaction, and personal growth. Engage participants actively while respecting different personalities, comfort levels, and learning styles. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse groups of teens. Manage the classroom or group setting effectively to ensure sessions run smoothly. Encourage positive peer communication, teamwork, self reflection, and respect among participants. Maintain accurate attendance and session records. Assist with setup, cleanup, and basic session preparation as needed. Communicate any concerns, incidents, or participant needs to the appropriate Rebuild Yourself leadership team member. Ensure all content is delivered in alignment with Rebuild Yourself Inc. standards, confidentiality expectations, and youth safety policies. Represent Rebuild Yourself Inc. in a professional, compassionate, and mission focused manner. Qualifications Experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, counseling, youth programs, nonprofit work, or leading teen groups is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and engage teens. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned facilities in Orange County and Osceola County. Current Level 2 background check or willingness to obtain one. Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with youth participants. Dependable, punctual, patient, compassionate, and professional. A strong passion for helping teens develop essential life skills, confidence, and connection. Skills Needed Classroom management and group facilitation. Ability to lead engaging and interactive sessions. Adaptability to address diverse learning styles, personalities, and needs. Strong communication and active listening skills. Ability to inspire, encourage, and motivate young people. Time management skills to effectively coordinate sessions and travel. Ability to follow lesson plans while adjusting to the needs of the group. Professional judgment when handling sensitive topics or participant concerns. Hours and Compensation This is a part time position with approximately 3 to 4 hours per day, 3 days per week, including travel time.
Age requirement:
18 or older Expected hours are approximately 15 to 20 hours per week. Pay range is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Minimum age:
18 years old Schedule Afternoon shift. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Additional dates or special events may be offered based on program needs and availability. Work Location This position is in person. Travel is required to assigned program locations, partner facilities, schools, or community sites in Orange County and Osceola County.
