Pay:
Competitive commission-based pay rate
Position Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Dance Instructor to lead youth dance classes at Tres Lagos beginning after Labor Day. The program should be fun, age-appropriate, beginner-friendly, and engaging for children in the community.
Responsibilities:
Lead structured dance classes for youth participants Create fun, age-appropriate routines and activities Teach basic dance technique, rhythm, coordination, and movement Maintain a positive, encouraging, and inclusive class environment Communicate professionally with families and the Play Academy team Arrive prepared and on time for each scheduled class Help create a welcoming experience that encourages continued registration
Additional Notes:
This program is planned for the fall season and will begin after Labor Day. We are looking to have the program ready to advertise by August 10. There may be additional opportunities for ongoing weekly programming based on registration and community interest. Experience teaching dance to children Background in dance, choreography, or youth instruction Ability to manage a group of children in a class setting Reliable, energetic, and professional CPR/AED certification preferred
