Job Description

Job description: The LY Studio + The Little Yogis Program The studio is based in Roswell Ga but the classes are held in the
North Fulton Area:
Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Cumming + surrounding areas. This isn't a "stand at the front and count reps" kind of role. This is for someone who understands that people walk into a room carrying things they don't say out loud and knows how to guide them through it using movement. You'll be teaching yoga, pilates, and strength-based classes to adults, kids, and sometimes both in the same room (yes, it's a dance, get comfortable with that). You won't be expected to be me. But you do need to get it… and be willing to learn how I do what I do. What You'll Be Doing Traveling to schools and facilities to teach yoga, pilates, and strength classes that feel intentional, not robotic Lead kids (2+) through movement, mindfulness, and structured play that actually holds their attention Shift your tone, pacing, and energy depending on who's in front of you (toddlers vs. grown men vs. moms who haven't exhaled all day) Follow a loose structure, while still being present enough to adjust in real time Assist with school programs and occasional off-site events Create an environment where people feel seen… not managed Learn and embody the LY Studio style of teaching this is mentorship, not just a job
Who This Is For You:
Have a strong presence. People listen when you speak, and you don't have to force it Can be high energy without being chaotic Are knowledgeable in yoga, pilates, and/or strength training and open to expanding how you teach it Are emotionally aware. You read a room fast and respond accordingly Don't hide behind buzzwords or "perform" wellness, you actually live it Can work with kids and adults without switching into a completely different personality Are reliable. If you say you're showing up, you show up Can take direction without ego getting in the way Want to grow into a signature instructor, not just collect certifications Who This Is Not For Someone who needs a script for every second Someone who overtalks, overexplains, or tries to sound impressive Someone who can't hold boundaries with kids or adults Someone who treats this like a side hobby but wants lead energy Schedule Classes range from 9:30am to 12:30pm or 2pm to 5:30pm Mix of off site school programs and teaching Flexible but must be dependable Pay $20 - $40 per hour (based on experience, presence, and ability to lead, not just certifications) What You're Stepping Into The LY Studio isn't your typical yoga space. We train the body, regulate the mind, and teach people how to actually be in their life, not just escape it for an hour. If you walk in trying to impress people, you'll burn out. If you walk in grounded, curious, and willing to refine your craft… you'll build something real here.
