Job Summary:

We are seeking an instructor who is dedicated to teaching children in our community the beauty of dance. The arts has long been a way to express our culture and heritage and we are looking to bring that opportunity to the children in our community! We would love to have someone who has overcome adversity and excelled in the arts. We are looking for trained dancers who would like to teach this skill to children in our community. This is not only an opportunity to teach children the beauty of dance but an opportunity to change lives! We look forward to meeting you!

Duties:

• Teach technique to the children that are being taught.
• Develop daily routines
• Play a major role in planning recitals and shows for students
• Provide individualized instruction when necessary
• Be a shining light to students who aspire to be dancers

Skills:

• Professionally trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary or African dance
• Comfort working with children of various ages
• If you are enthusiastic about teaching dance and possess the skills mentioned above, we welcome your application.
