About Us:

Expressions In Motion Dance is a vibrant and welcoming dance company dedicated to nurturing young dancers. We offer high-quality instruction in a fun, supportive environment where kids can develop their love for dance while building confidence, coordination, and creativity. We are looking for an energetic and passionate dance teacher/assistant dance teacher to join our team for the 2026/2027 school year! The ideal candidate will have experience teaching children ages 3-11 in beginner level jazz, hip-hop, and ballet.

BALLET/HIP HOP

Responsibilities:

Teach jazz, hip-hop, and ballet classes for children ages 3-11 Create age-appropriate lesson plans that balance technique, fun, and creativity Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment Choreograph routines for recitals Communicate effectively with students, parents, and studio staff Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during class

Qualifications:

Previous experience teaching dance to young children Strong knowledge of beginner level jazz, hip-hop, and ballet techniques High energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with kids Ability to create a structured yet fun classroom environment Dependable, punctual, and professional Excellent classroom management skills

Schedule & Compensation:

Part-time hours, normally 2:00

•4:30 timeframe Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for additional teaching hours in the morning and evening depending on availability of classes and experience.
