Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages through the art of dance. In this role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead energetic classes, and foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and self-expression. Your expertise will help students develop technical skills, confidence, and a love for the performing arts. Duties Develop comprehensive dance lesson plans tailored to various skill levels and age groups, incorporating elements of choreography, technique, and musicality Lead lively and motivating dance classes that promote physical fitness, artistic expression, and teamwork Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment Demonstrate dance techniques across styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop while providing constructive feedback Incorporate visual arts, theater concepts, or musical instruments into dance instruction to enhance creative learning experiences Organize performances or showcases that allow students to demonstrate their progress and build confidence Collaborate with parents, caregivers, or program coordinators to track student development and address individual needs Requirements Proven experience in teaching dance or performing arts with a focus on choreography and movement instruction Strong background in ballet or other dance styles such as jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop Experience working with children and youth programs; familiarity with early childhood education or preschool settings is a plus Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learners Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere Skills in choreography creation and performance coaching for solo or group routines Familiarity with theater arts, musical instruments, or other creative arts enhances instructional versatility Excellent communication skills to engage students of varying ages and backgrounds Join us as a Dance Instructor and bring your energy, creativity, and expertise to empower students through movement!
