Generations Home Loans is seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer to join our Financial Services team in the Banking, Insurance & Investment industry. You will source and develop mortgage business, guide clients through the loan process, and manage a pipeline from application to closing. Responsibilities include prospecting and nurturing referral partners, analyzing borrower financials, structuring mortgage solutions, ensuring complete and compliant files, and coordinating with processing and underwriting. Success in this role requires strong sales skills, detailed knowledge of mortgage products and guidelines, and a commitment to superior client service. Responsibilities Source and develop mortgage loan business through referrals, networking, and outbound prospecting. Interview borrowers to understand financial needs and recommend appropriate mortgage products. Collect, analyze, and verify borrower financial documentation for loan qualification. Prequalify and structure loans in line with investor, agency, and company guidelines. Manage a loan pipeline from application through closing, ensuring timely updates and follow-up. Coordinate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to clear conditions and fund loans. Maintain accurate, compliant loan files and adhere to all federal, state, and investor regulations. Use LOS, pricing engines, and CRM tools to quote rates, lock loans, and track activities. Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners. Educate clients on the mortgage process, loan options, and costs to deliver excellent service.
