Duties Design and implement engaging training routines for majorette teams, focusing on dance, baton twirling, and coordinated choreography Lead practices that develop technical skills such as baton handling, dance techniques, and synchronized routines Foster a positive team environment by encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among participants Provide constructive feedback to improve individual and team performances during rehearsals and competitions Ensure safety during all activities by supervising proper use of equipment and managing behavior effectively Coordinate with event organizers for performances at parades, competitions, or community events Maintain clear communication with parents, guardians, and school or organization staff regarding team progress and schedules Skills Proven experience in majorette, dance instruction, or sports coaching with a focus on team leadership Strong background in baton twirling, majorette routines, or related performance arts Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or teaching capacity Knowledge of sports-specific training techniques for majorette, gymnastics, or dance teams Excellent communication skills to motivate students and liaise with parents or organizational staff Ability to teach physical education concepts such as coordination, flexibility, strength training, and discipline Familiarity with health and safety protocols including CPR/AED operation and first aid procedures Background in martial arts like flexibility and technique is a plus for teaching discipline and focus techniques Experience in behavior management to promote respectful conduct during practices and performances Knowledge of sports team dynamics including soccer coaching, basketball drills, or climbing activities is advantageous Join us as a Majorette Coach to ignite passion for performance arts while fostering physical fitness and teamwork!
