Gymnastics Instructor West Ridge Community Center - Highland Park, IL 60035 Apply Overview Salary Range $16.00 - $30.00 Hourly Level Entry Position Type Part Time Education Level High School / GED Apply Description We have an immediate opening for a part-time, year-round Gymnastics Instructor. The position pays $16.00 - $30.00 hourly depending upon qualifications and offers great benefits. As the Gymnastics Instructor, you will teach kids of all levels in our brand-new, 10,000 square-foot gym build for gymnastics, bringing energy and creativity to every class. Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Instruct gymnastics lessons in accordance with PDHP gymnastics curriculum. Teaching skills essential to the development and growth of gymnast's abilities and progress. Understand skill levels and teach in a progressive and safe manner. Attend all informational staff meetings. Possess knowledge of gymnastics skills and progressions and proper apparatus execution. Maintain accurate attendance and progress reports as required Respond appropriately and in a timely manner to participant and facility emergencies, including completion of accident/incident or minor injury log. Follow all Park District policies and procedures. Performs other Park District-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and/or
Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with young children preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
American Red Cross CPR/AED (as needed).
Wage Range:
$16.00-$30.00 per hour depending on qualifications
Classification:
Part-time, non-exempt
Schedule:
Weekday morning/early afternoon, After school, and Saturday's.
