The Academy of Music and Art is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Dance Teacher to join our faculty for Fall 2026 . This part-time position teaches both Monday and Wednesday afternoon/evening classes and works with students ranging from preschool through teens . About Us The Academy of Music and Art has been serving Chicago's western suburbs for over 35 years . We are a fun, family-focused performing arts school where students build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of the arts. Our classes are designed to be engaging, encouraging, and fun, especially for beginning dancers.

Position Details Part-time Required Days:

Monday and/or

Wednesday Afternoon & Early Evening Pay:

$30 per hour

Advanced Musical Theatre We're Looking For Someone Who:

Loves teaching children Has experience teaching dance and/or musical theatre Can create a fun, positive, and encouraging classroom environment Is comfortable teaching preschool through teen students Is dependable, organized, and professional Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team Experience teaching ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, preschool dance, or K-Pop is a plus.
