Job Description

Hip Hop Dance Instructor Studio B Dance Center is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and passionate Hip Hop Instructor to teach hip hop classes at both the competitive and recreational levels - ages 8 and up. This role involves helping dancers build confidence, musicality, rhythm, performance skills, and age-appropriate hip hop technique in a fun, positive, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Teach age-appropriate Hip Hop technique, grooves, rhythm, musicality, and choreography. Create engaging lesson plans that inspire confidence, creativity, and personal growth. Choreograph routines that showcase student progress and prepare them for recital performances and/or competition Encourage performance quality, stage presence, teamwork, and self-expression. Provide a supportive and inclusive environment where dancers feel motivated, challenged, and excited to learn. Maintain a fun, structured, and safe classroom atmosphere. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the studio director.
Requirements:
Previous experience teaching Hip Hop dance. Ability to engage and inspire students of different ages and experience levels. Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching. Reliable, professional, positive, and flexible. Ability to create age-appropriate choreography and music selections.
Availability:
Weekday afternoon/evening availability preferred. Potential for additional hours based on experience, interest, and studio needs. Start date flexible. Studio B Dance Center is located in Bellingham, MA . www.studiobdancecenter.net
