About db studios db studios is a family-owned dance school with studios in Lexington and Burlington, MA. We teach recreational and competitive dance to children and teens ages 3-18, plus adult ballroom, and we keep classes small so every dancer gets real attention. Our faculty are working professionals with ties to companies and master teachers across New England.

enrich the lives of everyone who walks through our doors. The role We're hiring a Dance Teacher to lead acro, hip hop, contemporary and jazz classes Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 9:00 PM. You'll take over an established schedule of recreational and competitive classes, so you'll have full rooms from day one. Full-time and part-time options are available; we will build the schedule around the styles you're strongest in. What you'll do Teach weekly acro, hip hop, contemporary and jazz classes to dancers ages 3-18, beginner through advanced Choreograph recital pieces and competition routines for your classes and our competitive teams Follow and help shape our level-based curriculum with clear goals for each class Track attendance and progress in our studio software and communicate through studio channels Support studio events: recital, observation weeks, competitions and community performances Arrive 30 minutes before your first class prepared with music and lesson plans Who we're looking for 2+ years teaching children and teens in a studio setting (or strong assistant experience plus advanced training) Confident teaching at least two of the four styles; all four is a plus

Acro:

comfortable spotting and progressing tumbling safely; Acrobatic Arts certification is a plus, and we will help you get it Positive, organized and reliable, with a knack for managing a room of 8-year-olds and a room of teenagers Available Monday-Friday 3:30-9:00 PM (full-time) or a consistent set of weeknights (part-time) Must pass a CORI background check Compensation (full-time) $55,000-$65,000 annual salary based on experience Health insurance and paid time off Paid professional development (conventions, certifications, workshops) Additional pay for private lessons and extra choreography Compensation (part-time) $40-$60 per hour based on experience and certifications Consistent weekly schedule with room to grow into more hours or a full-time role Paid professional development and additional pay for private lessons and choreography db studios is an equal opportunity employer.
