Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Salsa Bachata Instructor to lead engaging dance classes that inspire students of all ages and skill levels. In this role, you will create dynamic lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and motivate students to develop their dance skills while having fun. The ideal candidate will bring a vibrant personality, a strong background in Latin dance styles, and a commitment to helping others discover the joy of movement. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive curriculum and lesson plans tailored to diverse skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers Teach engaging Salsa and Bachata classes, ensuring clear instruction and active participation Manage classroom dynamics effectively, promoting respectful behavior and a positive atmosphere Provide personalized feedback and tutoring to help students improve their technique and confidence Incorporate cultural elements, music selection, and choreography into lessons to enrich the learning experience Organize special workshops or performances to showcase student progress and foster community engagement Maintain a safe, inclusive environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and enjoyment of dance Skills Proven experience in teaching Salsa, Bachata or similar Latin dance styles with strong classroom management skills Ability to develop engaging curriculum and lesson plans suited for various age groups including children, teens, and adults Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all backgrounds Knowledge of choreography, musicality, and cultural context of Latin dances Experience working with children, early childhood education or special education is a plus Familiarity with photography or theater can enhance lesson presentation and student engagement Strong organizational skills for class scheduling, event planning, and maintaining student progress records Join us as a Salsa Bachata Instructor and bring your passion for dance into a lively environment where every class is an opportunity to energize minds and bodies!
