Job Description

Overview We are looking for a fun, energetic dance teacher in/near Howard County to help with our winter Intro to Ballet session of classes, beginning in January of 2027.
Details:
Student Ages:
4-11 Seasonal/as needed, up to 6 hours per week
Location:
1-3 different locations/School's in Howard County (specifically Ellicott City, Columbia, or Elkridge areas) for after school Enrichment programs.
Class Times:
TBD, general hours will be between 2:45-4:45pm Hours per week: TBD. Classes will run 1-3 days a week, for 10 weeks
Pay Range:
Minimum rate of $30.00/hour, with a possibility of up to $50/hour, dependent on enrollment Requirements Proven experience teaching dance classes, specifically ballet (including volunteer work/aid) Proven experience working with children ages 2-10 years of age, in small or large groups Ability to manage classroom dynamics with excellent behavior management skills. Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and developmental needs; familiarity with special education or early childhood education is a plus. Current first aid and CPR certification strongly preferred. Teacher will have to complete certification prior to teaching, reimbursed by FSDF. Reliable transportation is strongly preferred This is a great position for someone looking to gain teaching experience! We are currently hiring for our winter session, but will have future opportunities for summer and fall employment.
Pay:
$30.00 - $60.00 per hour
