Full Job Description Embroidery Instructor Job Summary:
Community Ed is looking for an Embroidery Instructor to join our team! Must be passionate about dance and willing to work with students of all levels. The ideal candidate has experience in embroidery for several years. Create fun and effective classes and be responsive to the needs of the customers. Organized, reliable, and able to arrive at all scheduled classes and appointments on time. Responsible for leading classes for community members.
Duties:
Ensure the classroom is set-up properly for class Lead students with proper and accurate techniques Document student attendance Keep accurate records on student goals and progress
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of embroidery experience preferred Friendly and outgoing with excellent communication skills Ability to work with participants who may need specialized attention (Community Ed is a fully inclusive organization.)
Skills:
First aid/CPR training and certification preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work early mornings, nights and weekends (evening classes preferred) Positive attitude, encouraging and patient with participants when instructing Able to build positive and professional relationships with participants Position involves frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing Able to lift 50+ lbs.
