Duties Design and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different skill levels and age groups, incorporating various styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop Lead engaging dance classes that motivate students to develop their technique, coordination, and performance skills Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and encourage continuous improvement through personalized coaching Choreograph routines for performances, recitals, or competitions that showcase students' talents and boost their confidence Collaborate with parents, guardians, or program coordinators to discuss student progress and address individual needs Incorporate elements of musicality, rhythm, and storytelling into lessons to enhance artistic expression Skills Proven experience in dance instruction across multiple styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop Strong background in choreography and lesson planning for diverse age groups and skill levels Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of all ages Experience working with children and youth programs; familiarity with early childhood education or preschool settings is a plus Knowledge of visual arts, performing arts, theater experience, or teaching arts enhances instructional versatility Ability to incorporate musical instruments or rhythm-based activities into dance lessons for a well-rounded arts education Skills in behavior management and childhood development to support positive learning experiences Familiarity with special education needs or adaptive teaching methods for inclusive instruction Join us if you're passionate about nurturing creativity through dance!
