Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages to discover the joy of movement and self-expression through dance. In this dynamic role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead lively classes, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, you will bring enthusiasm and expertise to every session, helping students develop their skills while having fun. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating various styles such as ballet, theater dance, and contemporary Lead energetic and motivating dance classes that promote technique, coordination, and artistic expression Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students Provide personalized tutoring and feedback to help students improve their skills and achieve their goals Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate elements of choreography, musicality, and performance preparation Support students' overall development by understanding childhood development principles and applying behavior management strategies Qualifications Proven experience in teaching dance or related movement arts with a strong background in ballet or theater dance styles Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for diverse age groups including early childhood education and preschool experience Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate students of varying skill levels Experience working with children, teenagers, or adults in educational or recreational settings Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management techniques is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively demonstrate techniques and provide constructive feedback Additional skills such as childcare experience are desirable but not required Join us in creating a vibrant space where movement becomes a source of joy and personal growth! $20.00 - $31.42 per hour
