Job Description

Overview Renner Dance is seeking an exceptional Acro Dance Instructor to join our faculty. This role focuses on training our competitive company dancers, developing exceptional technique, strength, flexibility, and performance quality through safe, progressive instruction. We are looking for an instructor who is passionate about technical excellence and committed to helping dancers reach their highest potential. Responsibilities Teach acrobatics classes with a primary focus on competitive company dancers. Develop dancers' strength, flexibility, technique, and advanced acrobatic skills through safe, progressive instruction. Prepare dancers for competitions, performances, and conventions. Create engaging lesson plans that challenge dancers while emphasizing technical excellence and injury prevention. Foster a positive, disciplined, and professional classroom environment. Collaborate with the Artistic Director and faculty to support each dancer's long-term development. Qualifications Extensive experience teaching acrobatics to competitive dancers. Strong technical knowledge of acro, tumbling, flexibility, and safe skill progressions. Ability to teach and safely spot advanced acrobatic skills. Passion for developing technically strong, confident dancers. Reliable, professional, and committed to excellence. Acrobatic Arts certification or a gymnastics / cheer background is a plus. Schedule Weekday afternoon and evening hours with opportunities for additional teaching, choreography, privates, workshops, and summer programs.
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
