Job Description

Job Overview Kinderdance of South Charlotte is seeking a responsible and energetic individual to join our team as a KinderDance Program Manager & Instructor. This hourly position offers an exciting opportunity to work with young children, lead engaging dance and movement classes, and support the coordination of our programs across local schools. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and passionate about teaching children through dance, yoga, and movement activities. Duties Teach and facilitate our Kinderdance, KinderTots, KinderGym, and Kids Yoga programs to young children. Work closely with students to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment. Manage class schedules and support other instructors in delivering quality programs. Communicate effectively with school directors to coordinate classes, demonstrations, and program activities between schools and teachers. Support team leadership by assisting in the organization of classes, demos, and program logistics. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for scheduling, communication, and documentation purposes. Maintain a safe, fun, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's development through dance and movement activities. Qualifications Experience working with young children in educational or school settings is preferred. Basic background in teaching dance or movement-based activities; comfort with dance/movement is a plus. Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, school staff, and team members. Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Ability to work well in a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for scheduling and correspondence purposes. This position offers an engaging environment where you can make a positive impact on children's development while working within a supportive team dedicated to fostering creativity and movement skills.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 15.0 per week
