The Starz Program is expanding its Lake Norman team and is currently seeking an experienced Children's Fitness Instructor . If you love teaching gymnastics, dance, sports, yoga, and more to young minds aged 2-12, we want you to join our dynamic team.

Children's Fitness Instructor Location:

Lake Norman area, including

Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, and Denver, NC Type:

Part-Time Responsibilities:

Lead engaging fitness classes for children ages 2-12 using the Starz curriculum (provided) Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation and a love for physical activity Foster teamwork, discipline, and respect among participants Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during classes Communicate with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress

Requirements:

Proven experience working with children ages 2+ Comfortable teaching a variety of activities (dance, sports, yoga, etc.) Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel to multiple locations Must have (or be able to obtain) a DCDEE Qualification Letter Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to create and implement age-appropriate fitness programs Passion for working with children and promoting a healthy lifestyle High level of accountability, professionalism, and reliability

Qualifications:

First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred) Background check clearance DCDEE Qualification Letter through the NC Department of Health and Human Services (required)
