Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Tap Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages through the art of tap dancing. In this energetic role, you will design engaging lesson plans, teach foundational and advanced tap techniques, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, rhythm, and confidence. Your enthusiasm for dance and commitment to student development will help cultivate a love for movement and performance in every class. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise while making a meaningful impact on students' artistic journeys. Primarily seeking an intermediate/advanced tap instructor. Duties Develop comprehensive tap dance curricula tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced students Lead engaging group and individual classes that emphasize proper technique, rhythm, timing, and musicality Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for learners of all ages Incorporate elements of theater, choreography, and performance skills into lessons to enhance artistic expression Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching to help students improve their skills and build confidence Collaborate with other instructors or staff on special projects such as workshops, community events, or themed dance programs Requirements Proven experience in teaching tap dance with a strong background in choreography, technique, and performance Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for diverse age groups including children, preschoolers, and adults Classroom management skills to maintain an organized, disciplined, yet fun learning environment Ability to plan lessons that incorporate musicality, rhythm exercises, and creative movement Strong communication skills to motivate students and collaborate effectively with colleagues Additional skills such as jazz dance instruction is a plus Join us in inspiring dancers of all ages! Pay:
