Role:

Next Stage Dance is seeking a warm, energetic, and creative instructor to lead our Dance with Me (formerly Mommy and Me) classes — a fun and interactive program designed for toddlers (ages 18 months-3 years) and their participating adults. Formerly known as Mommy and Me , this class introduces little ones to the joy of movement through music, dance, and play, while helping them build foundational motor skills and confidence.

Responsibilities:

Lead engaging, age-appropriate dance and movement activities for toddlers and their caregivers. Foster a positive, encouraging, and playful atmosphere that supports both learning and bonding. Incorporate music, rhythm, props, and imaginative play to keep classes dynamic and fun. Provide clear instruction and guidance to adult participants to help them support their child's learning. Manage class flow, transitions, and energy levels effectively. Communicate positively with parents and caregivers, creating a welcoming and community-focused environment.

Qualifications:

Experience working with toddlers or early childhood groups (dance, preschool, or related settings). High energy, enthusiasm, and a love for working with both young children and adults. Background in dance, creative movement, or early childhood education preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliability, patience, and a playful spirit are a must!
