In this dynamic role, you will inspire students of all ages and skill levels to discover the joy of movement while fostering their artistic growth. Your expertise will help develop engaging curricula, manage lively classes, and create a positive environment where students can thrive. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to share your love of dance and contribute to a thriving arts education setting. Candidate must be available on Wednesdays and/or Fridays.
Duties:
Follow along to studio-provided syllabi and create your own weekly lesson plans that keep students progressing and mastering key skills Lead engaging dance classes that promote technical skills, creativity, and confidence among students Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment Provide individualized feedback to help students improve their technique and performance Choreograph end-of season recital routines that showcase each student and the steps they have learned Experience Proven experience teaching ballet, jazz, or tap dance styles in classroom or studio settings to beginner-level, recreational dancers Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of varying skill levels Pay rate dependent on education, certifications, and/or experience.
