Job Description

Mission:
We are looking for passionate educators to share their love of dance and movement with our littlest learners, creating a positive first experience with dance and instilling a love of dance and movement that will last a lifetime.
Outcomes:
  • deliver developmentally aligned, high energy, fun, and engaging classes for students ages 1-5 years old, keeping students happy and smiling from our first step to our final wave good-bye!
  • develop physical competency, improve gross motor skills, encourage musicality, support life skills such as, confidence, listening, taking turns, and following directions in alignment with the goals set forth in our studio curriculum and syllabi.
  • maintain a safe, well-structured classroom environment with clearly defined expectations surrounding behaviors, routines, and directions.
  • maintain respectful and appropriate communications with host locations that encourages satisfaction with their continued partnership with our program and inspires students to return each session.
Qualifications:
Strong Candidates will have
  • Experience teaching young children in dance, gymnastics, cheer, or early childhood settings
  • Reliable, punctual, consistent transportation with the ability to travel to various locations in Northern NJ
  • Warm, caring, patient presence and a passion for working with toddlers and preschoolers.
Additional Details:
Morning and/or early afternoon classes at partner site campuses located throughout northern NJ. Start at 1-5 hours per week with potential to add sites based on performance and demand. Competitive pay based on experience; Paid training and supplies provided. Meet 30/60/90-day onboarding goals that begin with background checks, training and tandem teaching and transition to increased independence as the Lead Instructor, implementing feedback for improved classroom experience, and eventual ownership of all Lead Instructor responsibilities.
