In this role, you will foster a positive learning environment, develop tailored lesson plans, and motivate students to achieve their artistic potential. When teaching in a classroom setting, your enthusiasm and expertise will help cultivate a love for dance while promoting physical activity, creativity, and confidence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through movement and expression. Responsibilities Deliver dynamic dance lessons across various styles suited to different age groups and skill levels, including young children. Prepare and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs and learning objectives. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom for all students. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Demonstrate proper dance techniques, posture, and safety procedures. Collaborate with management to support student development and address any concerns. Qualifications Proven teaching experience with children ages 2 1/2 - 10 years in a studio setting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners. Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans that foster creativity, discipline, and enjoyment of dance. Prior university experience or background in performing arts education is advantageous but not required. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team dedicated to student success.
