• FY 2027 Job Description CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Jazz and/or Modern Dance courses.

Teaching assignments will include courses related to dance performance and technique and may include preparing course materials, delivering instruction, and supporting student learning outcomes.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach courses offered within the Dance Program. Teaching assignments may vary from semester to semester. Deliver instruction in classroom, online, and/or hybrid formats. Teach at one or more CSN campus locations, as assigned. Teach courses scheduled during the day, evening, and/or weekends. Teach any Dance Program courses for which the instructor is qualified.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university; or a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with exceptional professional skill and relevant industry experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred but not required.

SALARY:

$925.00 per instructional unit, $57.81/per hour for lab. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester. Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
