Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dance Teacher to inspire students of all ages to discover the joy of movement and self-expression through dance. In this dynamic role, you will design engaging dance curricula, foster a positive learning environment, and nurture students' artistic growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will motivate learners to develop their skills, confidence, and creativity while promoting the physical and emotional benefits of dance. Duties Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored to various skill levels and age groups, incorporating elements of choreography, musicality, and performance techniques Lead engaging dance classes that emphasize proper technique, artistic expression, and teamwork Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students Incorporate visual arts, theater experience, and creative arts instruction into lesson plans to enhance overall artistic development Collaborate with students on choreography projects and prepare them for performances or showcases Utilize knowledge of musical instruments and dance styles to enrich instruction and inspire diverse movement expression Provide individualized feedback and tutoring to support student progress Qualifications Proven experience working with children and youth programs teaching dance or performing arts Strong background in choreography, dance instruction, and classroom management Knowledge of curriculum development for creative arts education across different age groups Experience teaching visual & performing arts with a focus on dance techniques and theatrical performance Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds while fostering a positive learning environment Technical expertise in both ballet and pointe curriculum Join us in creating an inspiring space where movement meets imagination!
