Our programs help students build confidence, creativity, and teamwork through hands-on learning and physical activity. We are currently hiring Instructors to lead enrichment classes for students ranging from preschool through middle school. Programs may include activities such as STEM, robotics, fitness, sports, and creative movement. This role is ideal for educators, coaches, facilitators, and college students interested in gaining experience working with youth in a structured educational setting. All instructors receive training in curriculum delivery, classroom management, and facilitation techniques. Position Responsibilities Teach enrichment classes using the provided curriculum. Lead engaging activities for groups of up to 20 students. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes. Travel to assigned program locations within NYC. Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment. Communicate with program staff and provide feedback when needed. Schedule Most programs run for a semester or trimester and meet once per week. Some instructors may take on multiple shifts depending on availability. Each shift includes travel time and typically consists of 1-3 hours of teaching . Compensation Instructors are paid $100-$150 per shift , depending on program type and experience. Qualifications Experience working with children or youth in group settings Strong communication and classroom management skills Enthusiastic and reliable personality Ability to lead group games and activities Comfortable managing groups of up to 20 students Experience in areas such as STEM, robotics, sports, dance, martial arts, or youth facilitation is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to carry program materials (up to 20 lbs) Comfortable traveling to program locations within NYC Training All instructors receive training before leading classes, including curriculum guidance and classroom management strategies.
