Duties Design and implement comprehensive ballet and jazz dance curricula tailored to various skill levels and age groups Lead engaging dance classes solo and/or with other coaches that emphasize technique, artistry, and performance skills in a lively, motivating manner Develop choreography for performances, competitions, and showcases that highlight students' talents Incorporate creative arts elements such as theater experience, choreography, and visual arts into lessons to enhance learning experiences Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all students Plan lessons that integrate music, movement, and storytelling to inspire creativity and self-expression Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth in dance skills and confidence Qualifications Proven experience in teaching ballet and jazz dance styles with a focus on youth programs or early childhood education Strong background in choreography, lesson planning, and curriculum development within the performing arts field Familiarity with classroom management techniques suitable for working with children and teenagers Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds, including special education or preschool settings is a plus Knowledge of theater arts, music integration, photography, sewing, or culinary arts is beneficial for creating multidisciplinary lessons Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a fun learning environment Join us in shaping the next generation of dancers!
