Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages through the art of dance. In this role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead dynamic classes, and foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and physical expression. Your expertise will help students develop their technical skills while cultivating a love for the performing arts. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in youth and adult dance education within a vibrant community setting. Availability Our Fall Recital classes begin the week of 9/14/26 and will end in June 2027. There will be recital performances in June. Commitment and consistency is imporant to our families and community!

Tap, Combo (ballet & tap 4-6 years old), Jazz/Hip Hop classes in a variety of age groups and levels. Friday 4
PM:
Contemporary Saturday:

Jazz/Hip Hop, Ballet, Combo (ballet & tap 4-6 years old), and Boys Hip Hop Responsibilities Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different skill levels and age groups, incorporating various styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, or tao. Lead engaging and energetic dance classes that motivate students to improve their technique and express themselves creatively. Manage classroom environments effectively by maintaining discipline, encouraging participation, and ensuring safety during all activities. Provide individualized feedback and coaching to help students progress in their dance skills and build confidence. Incorporate choreography into performances or recitals, guiding students through routines that showcase their talents. Collaborate with other arts educators to integrate dance with visual arts, theater, music, or other creative disciplines. Support the planning and execution of student performances and recitals. Requirements Proven experience in dance instruction across multiple styles with a strong background in choreography and performance. Demonstrated ability to develop or follow engaging curriculum plans suited for diverse age groups and skill levels. Experience working with children and youth programs, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Knowledge of classroom management techniques that promote discipline while encouraging creativity and self-expression. Familiarity with teaching visual & performing arts as well as music or theater is highly desirable. Skills in working with students on instrumental performance or singing can be an added advantage. Background in childhood development or education theory related to creative arts instruction is preferred. Ability to incorporate additional skills such as photography, sewing, culinary arts, or other creative hobbies into dance-related projects is a plus.
