Job Description

Dance Instructor - Enrichment Program Little Buckeye Learning Center is seeking a passionate and energetic Dance Instructor to join our new Enrichment Program! We are looking for an instructor who can teach Tap, Ballet, and Jazz to children ranging from toddlers through school-age . This is an exciting opportunity to help us build a high-quality dance program from the ground up for both our current families and children from the surrounding community. Position Dance Instructor -
Tap, Ballet & Jazz Pay:
$20-$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Location:
Little Buckeye Learning Center Age Groups:
Toddlers through school-age children Responsibilities Teach fun, engaging, and age-appropriate Tap, Ballet, and Jazz classes. Develop weekly lessons and choreography appropriate for each age group. Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment. Adapt instruction to accommodate different skill levels and abilities. Teach basic dance technique, rhythm, coordination, movement, and performance skills. Maintain a safe and organized classroom. Communicate professionally with school staff and families. Track children's participation and progress. Help plan an end-of-session performance or family showcase. Develop a yearly enrichment program plan and curriculum. Qualifications Previous experience teaching dance to children preferred. Strong background in Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. Experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, and/or school-age children preferred. Ability to create age-appropriate lessons and choreography. Energetic, patient, creative, and dependable. Strong communication and classroom-management skills. Dance education, certification, degree, or professional performance experience is a plus. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, creative, organized, and passionate about helping children develop confidence, coordination, and a love of dance.
Pay:
$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
