Overview Join our vibrant fitness community as a Line Dancing Instructor, where your passion for dance and fitness will inspire members to move, groove, and achieve their personal best! In this energetic role, you will lead engaging line dance classes that combine fun, rhythm, and physical activity. Your expertise will motivate participants of all skill levels to embrace movement, improve their coordination, and enjoy the social benefits of group fitness. Responsibilities Lead dynamic line dancing classes that incorporate various routines suitable for all skill levels Demonstrate dance steps clearly and guide participants through practice sessions to build confidence Design engaging class programs that blend traditional line dance styles with innovative moves Foster an inclusive, motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and enjoyment Ensure safety by monitoring participants' movements and providing guidance on proper body mechanics Communicate effectively with attendees to address questions and offer personalized coaching when needed Maintain a positive environment that promotes social interaction and group cohesion Skills Proven experience in teaching or performing line dancing or similar dance styles such as country, jazz, or ballroom dancing Strong knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to dance movements and physical fitness Ability to demonstrate routines clearly and guide participants through practice sessions effectively Excellent communication skills to motivate and engage diverse groups of learners Familiarity with group fitness class management, program design, and fitness industry standards Knowledge of health and safety protocols including first aid, CPR, AED operation, manual handling, heavy lifting, and injury prevention Experience in coaching or personal training with a focus on dance-based fitness or sports coaching preferred Enthusiasm for promoting health club activities such as yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, cycling or other fitness disciplines is a plus Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all participants Embark on this exciting journey as a Line Dancing Instructor where your energy fuels fun-filled classes that boost confidence and foster community!
