Mayne Attraction Studios (MAS) has been serving families in the Greater Cleveland area since 2013, offering holistic dance instruction in a welcoming environment from experienced staff. We aim to be the dance family you've always wanted — and we're growing! We're seeking an energetic, organized, and passionate team member who can shine as a dance instructor. About the
Position:
This position is perfect for someone who loves teaching dance to young children. You'll inspire students in the classroom teaching beginner and intermediate classes in genres like Acro, Hip Hop, and Tap. Applicants can expect to complete approximately 2-4 hours of teaching each week (Sunday afternoons and weeknights).
What You'll Do:
Teach weekly dance classes with engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Choreograph routines and prepare students for performances and showcases. Foster a positive, disciplined, and encouraging classroom environment. Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and performance details. Support marketing, open houses, and community events. Assist with showcase logistics (costumes, volunteer coordination, backstage support).
What We're Looking For:
Dance-related degree or experience teaching multiple genres. At least 2 years of experience teaching dance technique and choreography. Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Creative, energetic, positive, and patient. Comfortable following systems and contributing ideas to improve them.
