Part-Time Children's Activity Instructor Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Children's Activity Instructor, where your enthusiasm and creativity will inspire babies to preschoolers! Duties Lead fun and age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development in children. Manage environments effectively, ensuring safety and positive behavior through strong behavior management techniques. Use our lesson plans to create an exciting experience for families while singing, dancing and using sports and movement tools to jumpstart child development. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute fun activities, games, arts and crafts, and educational programs. Support children with special needs by adapting activities to accommodate individual requirements and fostering an inclusive atmosphere. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, attendance, and incident reports to ensure compliance with safety standards. Obtain CPR training and Safe Sport skills (We provide training) Skills Proven experience working with children in sports, educational or childcare settings, including daycare or camp environments. Strong time and people management skills to maintain order while encouraging participation and creativity. Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and first aid protocols to ensure child safety. Experience facilitating youth group activities, sports coaching, gymnastics, tumbling, theater arts or tutoring is a plus. Ability to develop relationships with parents and help demonstrate ways for parents to fully engage with children under 3 years old as they play with purpose. Effective team leadership skills to collaborate with colleagues and support a positive work environment. Some college is required.
