Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through the art of dance. In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, teach various dance styles, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, you will bring energy and passion to every class, helping students achieve their personal goals while developing their technical skills. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop Lead engaging dance classes that motivate students to improve their technique and express themselves creatively Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students Provide individualized guidance and feedback to help students progress in their dancing abilities Organize and oversee rehearsals for performances or competitions when applicable Incorporate elements of theater, choreography, and performance skills into lessons to enhance student confidence Maintain accurate attendance records and progress reports for each student Skills Proven experience in teaching dance techniques across multiple styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary or hip-hop Strong classroom management skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of learners Expertise in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to different age groups including early childhood education and adult learners Experience working with children, preschoolers, or students with special educational needs Knowledge of behavior management strategies to foster positive classroom dynamics Ability to incorporate creative arts elements like theater or photography into dance instruction when appropriate Familiarity with childcare practices, childhood development principles, and early childhood education standards Skills in event organization for performances or showcases that highlight student achievements This role is perfect for passionate dance professionals eager to make a meaningful impact through energetic teaching while continuously expanding their instructional expertise. Pay:
$25.20 - $30.35 per hour
