Position Summary:
We are looking to hire a powersports industry assembly technician / shop helper to build new units, as well as organize and maintain appearance of the lot. We are looking for someone who is truly into powersports vehicle technology and rides and understands how they function. We're looking for someone who cares about the quality and integrity of their work. Pay will be in line with experience and qualifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(The following duties for the position listed shall include but are not limited to): Ability to assemble and Pre Delivery Assembly Inspection (PDI) of new units. Responsible for new units, starting from receiving to delivering to the customer as outlined in the PDI and training procedures and guidelines. Responsible for organization of the shop and control of PDI area and service warehouse storage. Focus on shop organization, safety, and management of shop requirements. Prepare and clean units for customer pick up. Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department. Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times. Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole. Keep tools and lot display area in a clean and orderly manner.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prefer interest or experience in Motorsports industry. Prefer technical and/or mechanical aptitude. Ownership of tools. Familiarity of product lines sold in the dealership.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in the operation of Motor Vehicles, either through work experience or as a hobby. Require strong, excellent verbal & solid communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment with multiple strict deadlines. Motorcycle Endorsement on Driver's License.
