Contemporary Dance Teacher Job Description:

The Woodlands Ballet Academy is seeking a Modern/Contemporary Dance Teacher to join our team for the pre-professional division, which will provide instruction to students aged 10 to 18. The ideal candidate will have a College degree and extensive professional experience.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver structured contemporary classes that emphasize proper technique, artistry, and injury prevention. Conduct lesson planning, classroom management, and coaching sessions. Foster a supportive and disciplined classroom environment. Collaborate with the Artistic Director to develop and implement teaching strategies.

Qualifications:

A background as a professional contemporary dancer. Proven experience teaching pre-professional students.
