Responsibilities Lead engaging dance classes that incorporate technical ballet training, choreography, and performance techniques. Foster a positive classroom environment by managing student behavior, encouraging creativity, and promoting respect among participants. Provide individualized feedback and coaching to help students improve their technique and performance skills. Collaborate with fellow instructors on special projects such as performances, recitals, or community outreach programs. Maintain detailed lesson plans, attendance records, and progress reports to monitor student development and communicate effectively with parents or guardians. Experience Proven experience teaching ballet or other performing arts to diverse age groups, including youth programs teaching experience. Strong background in choreography, lesson planning, and curriculum development within the arts or dance fields. Experience working with students with special needs or in special education environments is a plus.
