Lead Dance Instructor (Part-Time) Dance With Joy | Fort Worth, TX Inspire the Next Generation Through Dance, Music & Storytelling Dance With Joy is a boutique children's dance studio in Fort Worth specializing in creative, imaginative dance education for children ages 12 months through 12 years. We believe dance should build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of performing arts in a nurturing, encouraging environment. We are looking for an experienced Lead Dance Instructor to teach children primarily ages 4-10 during our fall and spring season. About the Role Tuesday Afternoons 4:15-5:00 PM - Tap/Jazz combo for ages 4-6 5:15-6:00 PM Broadway Dance ages 6-10 years We are seeking someone who is energetic, dependable, and passionate about teaching young children. The ideal candidate has a strong jazz foundation and enjoys incorporating musicality, storytelling, and performance into the classroom. A background in musical theater or professional performance is highly preferred. Our goal is to create classes that are engaging, imaginative, and age-appropriate while helping every child grow in confidence and technique. Qualifications Strong background in jazz dance /some tap (required). Background in musical theater, performance, or commercial dance strongly preferred. Previous experience teaching children, especially ages 4-10 . Ability to manage a classroom with kindness, enthusiasm, and confidence. Reliable, organized, and professional. Passion for inspiring young dancers in a positive, encouraging environment. Schedule Part-time position with teaching opportunities including: Weekday afternoons and evenings Occasional Saturday mornings Additional opportunities for camps, rehearsals, and special events Preferred Experience Jazz Dance Musical Theater Children's Dance Instruction Choreography Performance Experience CPR/First Aid certification (a plus) Why Dance With Joy?
