MMA Instructor Flurry Fitness Flurry Fitness is looking for an energetic, dependable, and professional MMA Instructor who can deliver safe, structured, and exciting classes for members of all experience levels. We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to fight. We are looking for someone who knows how to lead, communicate, motivate, and provide phenomenal customer service. What We Are Looking For The right person: Shows up early and prepared for every class Brings a positive attitude and strong energy Provides exceptional customer service Is coachable and open to feedback Communicates clearly with beginners and experienced members Maintains control of the class at all times Creates a welcoming and encouraging environment Takes pride in keeping the training area clean and organized Wants to grow with Flurry Fitness Responsibilities Lead MMA technique and conditioning classes Teach proper boxing, kickboxing, grappling, and defensive techniques Demonstrate movements clearly and safely Provide modifications for different fitness and experience levels Correct members' form in a professional and encouraging manner Learn members' names and make them feel welcomed Start and finish every class on time Inspect and organize equipment before and after class Follow all Flurry Fitness safety and customer service standards Assist with member retention by creating an outstanding class experience Class Structure All instructors must follow Flurry Fitness's specific class structure and programming. This is not a position where instructors create an entirely different workout every time they teach. You must be willing to learn our system, follow the required class format, and consistently deliver the Flurry Fitness experience. Qualifications Previous MMA, boxing, kickboxing, BJJ, grappling, or coaching experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to safely demonstrate exercises and combat techniques Dependable transportation and reliable attendance Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed CPR and First Aid certification preferred Personal training or combat sports certification is a plus What Success Looks Like Success in this role means members feel welcomed, receive a great workout, improve their technique, and look forward to coming back.
