Job Description Utah Tumbling Academy is currently looking to expand our team of awesome, fun and driven instructors at our studio (3953 Wasatch Blvd) in Millcreek! If you are energetic, love working with children, have knowledge and experience in parkour, tumbling, cheer, dance and/or gymnastics, then this just might be the job for you. Responsibilities Assist children ages 2-16 years of age in their parkour & tumbling goals Independently manage a class setting Help children understand the basics of parkour & tumbling while having fun Understand proper parkour & tumbling technique and form Consistently carry a positive attitude Qualifications Tumbling, gymnastics, cheer, dance, acro or parkour experience is preferred, but not required Good communication skills A passion for teaching parkour & tumbling The ability to lift up to 25 pounds; physical activity involved in spotting and moving equipment The ability to communicate with parents and staff Standard First-Aid/AED Certification (paid by the company) Additional Information Minimum of 12-15 hours per week. Must be 16 years or older to apply. Hours can be adjusted as we are willing to be flexible with scheduling. We are specifically looking for coaches available during the school year (August-May) for the following shifts:
Mondays:
3:45-7:45 PM |
Tuesdays:
3:45-8:30 PM |
Wednesdays:
3:45-7:30 PM |
Thursdays:
3:45-8:30 PM |
Fridays:
2:45-5:30 PM Specifically seeking coverage during the summer (June to July) on Monday to Thursday between 11:00 AM and 7:30 PM, and on some weekends during birthday parties and events. Pay starting at $16.00 per hour depending on experience
