Our staff & faculty are an integral part of that magic and sparkle. SOUL Aerial & Performing Arts Center is hiring Dance Instructors to lead classes at our Richmond, VA locations. See the following link for complete details: Employment (soulaerial.com) Currently we are seeking Dance Instructors. We have openings for Hip Hop teachers and Ballet teachers. Please be sure to include your training and teaching experience in your resume. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for: teaching classes in a dance studio setting Providing instruction to students in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, and/or tap Taking attendance, attending paid faculty meetings and dance workshops, choreography for recitals
Preferred Experience:
Dance Degree BFA or MFA or equivalent professional performance & teaching experience required. At least 3 years of experience teaching students in a dance studio environment is preferred Has worked with beginners through advanced students and has background in competitive dance workshops and training Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with parents, students, and staff A passion for teaching and inspiring young people A flexible schedule that allows availability from 3pm - 8pm. Snow days or class cancellations are paid. Must have strong ballet training and strong knowledge of dance technique vocabulary, kinesiology and physiology and incorporate all of these when teaching. Works directly with Curriulum director to meet the needs and focus of the studio
